What is Positive Psychology Coaching?

​​Positive psychology is "the scientific study of what makes life worth living" and it aims to make life better. ​It considers all dimensions of human life, what makes us flourish on every level - from biological to personal, relational, institutional, and cultural. 

 

The goal of coaching is to unlock potential to maximize performance.

 

A positive psychology coach uses positive psychology help you identify and use your strengths to make your life better.   This includes building in more pleasure, engagement and meaning to your life.​ So think of it as unlocking your potential to be the best you can be, and flourish at the same time.​

 

As a qualified psychotherapist and Psychology lecturer, I bring a unique set of skills and knowledge to my coaching practice, enabling a deeper insight into what you bring to the coaching session. The tools I bring from psychotherapy combined with positive psychological interventions and strategies allow me a greater set of resources at my disposal to help you. ​
